It is a low-profile mag carrier that can be worn both IWB and OWB, right-hand or left-hand, by simply moving the belt clip to the other side. By using an "MRD," or Magazine Retention Device, the MRD Single Mag Carrier fits many different magazines. The MRD functions by applying pressure to the backside of the magazine and is adjusted with a 1/8" hex key (included).
The MRD Single Mag Carrier comes in three sizes, Single Stack , Double Stack 9/40, and Double stack 45, the technology is the same but the widths are different. With all three sizes you can accommodate nearly ALL pistol magazines in existence. The single stack will fit small single stack magazines such as the M&P Shield, LCP'S , Glock 43's and Springfield XDS. The double stack 9/40 model will fit some wider single stack magazines, as well as most all double stack magazines. The Double Stack 45 will fit the larger mags like Glock 20/21's etc.
